Prevari Releases Technology Risk Manager Web Compliance Module
Minneapolis, MN. May 28, 2007 – Prevari, a security product and risk management company today announced the official release of the web compliance module (WebMod), for its Technology Risk Manager (TRM) product line. Using external technology feeds, TRM accepts inputs from multiple technology scanners delivers Prevari Risk Index (PRI) based on the technical, administrative and physical controls of an IT environment.
TRM WebMod enables remote system and business owners the ability to answer compliance questions relevant to their role and position in the organization on a flexible basis. This new module clearly illustrates for executive management the state of their IT compliance and how that compliance maps to acceptable levels of risk specific to business functions.
"One effect of the expanding world of regulatory compliance is the impact in man-hours for both auditors and users. Management is continuously being bombarded with redundant interviews that to them are not a high priority”, said KoniKaye Jeschke, CEO. "Enabling a non-intrusive process for TRM users has resulted in significant savings for man-hours and travel. Additionally, a web interview capability allows senior management to participate in an ongoing basis and easily delegate elements to subordinate parts of the organization," said Jeschke.
Technology Risk Manager (TRM) 3.3
TRM is a scaleable software application that features the ability to assimilate technical, administrative and physical environments into a common risk index yielding quantitative measurements in the domains of Confidentiality, Integrity, Available, and Audit. This information can then be used to understand and mitigate risk from the individual host level up to and including the entire corporate enterprise and any customer-defined business unit or application in between.
